Ex-BB Naija Khafi, affirmed that she was sexually assaulted as she joined the ongoing trending Twitter conversation about rape and domestic violence against the feminine gender. The reality star revealed why she never reported the rapist having chosen to be discreet about her secret. Khafi said she revealed the distressing truth to a friend while the friend had her blamed for it.
Khafi brought this to light in order to give and restore hope to victims living in the darkness of fear to speak up about their own experience as well.
She tweeted: "because he apologised right after. Because I made myself believe him being drunk was an excuse. Because the one person I did tell said I caused it. Because I felt dirty and ashamed".
