Lionel Messi's La liga returns.

The return of Spanish Football.

The Spanish Football association has announced its return date after the sudden halt on March 12th due to the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus pandemic. The Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez has given a go-ahead directives to hit the ground running like ever before starting from the second week of June which would be played behind closed doors like the German Bundesliga. Lionel Messi's Barcelona sits at the top of La liga table with 58 points having played 27 matches so far with just two points clear and goal difference from their domestic title rivals Real Madrid. Barcelona and Argentine Football genius and also sixth time ballon d'or winner is leading the Spanish La liga top scorers with 19 goals scored and 12 assists. Their domestic league rival Karim Benzema of Real Madrid, sits at the second spot behind Lionel Messi with 14 goals scored and 6 assists. Other running mates are Luis Suarez and Lucas Perez both tied on same level goals 11, with 7 assists for the former and 5 assists for the latter. The English Premier league as well as the Serie A domestic league is also looking forward to resume in subsequent weeks.
