World's Highest-Paid And South Korean Boy Band (BTS) Donates $1 Million To Black Lives Matters Movement (BLM)



South korean K-pop sensational band has donated $1m to black lives matters in support of global protests against police brutality sparked by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.  The band as well as its music label, Big Hit entertainment consisting  of seven members  revealed on its verified Twitter account page about their rage against partial racism and violence with the hashtag BlackLivesMatter:
     "We stand against racial discrimination, we condemn violence. You, I and we all have the right to be respected, we will stand together".

The harshtag went viral across the country among the K-pop fans and eventually kick started a new plethora of donations with a new hashtag MatchAMillion. The BTS fan base also known as the ARMY, an acronym for Adorable Representation MC for Youths to equal the $1 million donation the group made. However,  the ongoing global protests reflects some kind of a reaction to the brutal killing of the Minneapolis man, George Floyd and the police treatment of ethnic minorities.
