In retrospection, to the additional seven days lockdown measures which had been observed in Abuja, the country's capital city and Ogun State respectively ends today. This rule does not apply to the metropolitan Emirate city of Kano, which is due to the rapid increase of cases in the State.
Good news for everyone across the country as the lockdown measures given earlier by the President to curtail the further spread of the coronavirus pandemic will be relaxed as from today 4th of May 2020.
The Nigerian President has however banned peripatetic movements and unnecessary peregrinations within the States until further notice. In the same vein, Religious activities in the country is still subjected to lockdown measures.
Conclusively, The President implored the citizens of the country to make the best use of their face masks, nose coverings and constant maintenance of good and personal hygiene.
