The league would kick start with the games in hand before the Covid-19 pandemic strike. Manchester City welcomes Arsenal in a massive comeback encounter while Aston villa locks horn together with Sheffield United after the loss of EFL silverware to the defending champions in March 2020. The full round of matchday fixtures would resume June 19-21 with series of matches to be played week in and week out with proper preventive measures to be taken.
The top five leagues excluding the French Ligue 1 who already had their season cancelled would return in subsequent weeks with the Spanish La Liga to resume on June 11 and Serie A, June 20. This is a great news for Liverpool Football Cub as being the best club so far as this season is concerned.  As a matter of fact, the club would have been crowned champions by now if not for the pandemic outbreak 3months ago.
